Yesterday I thought to myself, "Hey I should make a 3d version of me in the style of the old 'Money For Nothing' music video." Then I said to myself, "Wait, you're too boring. Make Prince!". I slapped myself a high five and got to work.
The original style of the Dire Straits video was pretty.. minimalistic. Which I stayed with for the modeling, but strayed away from with the lighting and effects. Now he kinda looks more like a lego version.
Here's a render more close to the 80s style.
